Lesson 03: What’s wrong with all-Chinese schools in Canada?

Is there any wrong with all-Chinese schools in Canada? My answer is definitely NO.

I am really a Chinese in my blood. I am growing up in China and my schoolmates are all Chinese. Although I moved to Canada last year, I can survive in this new country without studying in a mixture school. I realized that my English is not good enough to communicate with native people frequently. So I made a decision to take this small class to improve it. Maybe it is easy to improve in a mixture school, but it is no evidence that there is any wrong with all-Chinese schools.

I have two kids, one is 6 years old and the other is 3 years old. I do not worry about that they can not be involved in this country. I am really afraid that they can not speak mandarin. I am afraid that they will bring a girlfriend or boyfriend with different color in the near future. If there are all-Chinese schools in Canada, I think it is a good way to help them make more Chinese friends in this country. It can help them make a feeling that although we live in a different country, we are Chinese in our blood.

This is my opinion. Thanks.
